Class Information for AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED
The AHA's Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration and a CPR and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.
This course teaches skills with the AHAâ€™s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the studentsâ€™ learning of skills.
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
